What's up world?! I'm back with Episode 5 of my docuseries, 'Round My Block. In this installment, I take you all along for the ride to D.C.'s very own, Broccoli City Festival.

The festival is a branch of Broccoli City, which is a social enterprise working to bridge the gap between the community and it's connection with sustainable living and focus on "people, planet, and profit". This year, Broccoli City expanded into a full week of events, which included Broccoli City Festival. Headliners this year included Rae Sremmurd, Solange and, Lil Yachty, along with some new faces like Nao, Smino, and Chaz French.

I was able to speak with representatives for two brands, Terrell Lomax of the Loft RVA and Ori Jordan, designer/creator of the O Factory to learn why they feel it's important to be a part of the Broccoli City movement. Check out the full recap and their interviews by clicking the video below and let me know your thoughts in the comment section! Have you been to Broccoli City Fest? Plan to? I want to know! :)
